I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful tapas bar that really exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with lovely rustic decor that set the tone for a genuine Spanish experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt right at home. I tried the patatas bravas and they were perfectly crisp, served with a spicy aioli that had just the right kick. My partner opted for the chorizo al vino, and let me tell you, it was bursting with flavour! We also shared a selection of olives which were marinated to perfection. One highlight of the evening was the sangria—refreshing and not overly sweet, it complemented our meal wonderfully. I appreciated the variety of vegetarian options available as well; it’s often hard to find a place that caters to different dietary preferences without skimping on taste. If I had to suggest one minor improvement, it would be the seating arrangement. While we had a cozy corner spot, I noticed it could get a bit cramped during busy hours. However, that certainly didn’t overshadow the delightful experience. We left feeling satisfied and already planning our next visit. If you’re in search of a place that serves up delicious tapas and a fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t regret it!

What a fantastic find! I stumbled upon this tapas bar during a recent trip to Buxton and I cannot stop raving about it! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the tantalising aroma of delicious Spanish dishes wafting through the air. The ambience is simply charming, with soft lighting and vibrant artwork that makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Spain. We started with a selection of tapas, and every single dish was a hit! The grilled prawns were succulent and perfectly seasoned, while the stuffed peppers were wonderfully flavourful. The standout for me was definitely the calamari, which was so tender and crispy, paired with a delightful dipping sauce. I also loved that they offered a good variety of wines, and the staff were more than happy to recommend a bottle to suit our meal. The service was impeccable; our waiter was knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. I do think it would be beneficial for them to consider adding a few more desserts to the menu—while the chocolate mousse was divine, I found myself curious about other sweet options. Nevertheless, this little gem is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic tapas. I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and can’t wait for my next visit. Don’t miss out on this wonderful experience!
